Colin Evans (born 20 November 1936 in Blaenavon — died 23 November 1992(1992-11-23) (aged 56) in Leeds) was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s who at representative level played rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Pontypool RFC, playing at Scrum-half, i.e. number 9, and at representative level played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Leeds, and Keighley, playing at Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 7.[1]

Colin Evans won a cap for Wales (RU) while at Pontypool in 1960 against England, and won caps for Wales (RL) while at Leeds, and Keighley 1963…1969 2-caps.[2]

Rugby Football League Championship final appearances

Colin Evans played Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e, number 7 and scored a try in Leeds' 25-10 victory over Warrington in the 1960-61 Rugby Football League Championship final at Odsal Stadium, Bradford on 20 May 1961.
